Hi,
I just wondered if any one has had trouble with the Westlake Village Library and their new check-in/renewal system. We recently checked out several books and had them hand-checked back in (as I am always wary of putting them in the bins outside, just in case they don't get checked in on time). However, when we went to check out some more books after that, we were told the other books were turned in late and had amassed some late fees. We are more than certain there was an error in the check-in procedure, as we always return our books in advance of the due date and we always hand-check them in. Always. Has any one else encountered this problem? Just curious to know if our experience was a fluke or if there may be a real problem in the library's new system. Thanks!
